Nexus Prime, the flagship for Google Android platform is designed by Samsung and will be officially presented on October 11, exactly a week after the release of the iPhone 5.
The presentation will take place at the CTIA 2011 event, co-presented by Google. Location and timing of presentation are not randomly chosen, Prime Nexus will serve as a presentation platform to introduce the new operating system Android 4.0, code-named Ice Cream Sandwich.
Samsung Nexus Prime will be the first smartphone with Android 4.0 operating system, designed to provide a demonstration of force against the dreaded iPhone 5 from Apple.
As for the next Google Phone configuration, rumors speak about a 4.65 inch display, based on HD Super Amoled technology. The Exynos chipset consists of a dual-core CPU clocked at no less than 1.5 GHz, and the back of the case is dominated by an 8 MP camera with support for HD video recording.
We will have to wait for the official presentation of pictures with the new Nexus Prime, but the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich was already caught in action, running on a smartphone Samsung Nexus S Series (shown in the picture).
